Brethren,
Many thanks go to Brother Kirk Wells for the great meal he prepared for the November stated dinner. Both of our families helped out in the festivities and it was great fun to have so many great cooks in the kitchen.
For our December Stated Dinner Worshipful Grove is going to tantalize our taste buds with prime rib. Cost will be $10 we are expecting a full house so please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Table Lodge Bocce Ball
This was one of the best Table Lodge events ever. What a great tradition to have in our Lodge. Everyone had a great time with lots of good food and fun.
I am sorry I was not able to make it for Bocce Ball, but I was informed that everyone had a great time. I thought it would be interesting to know a little about Bocce Ball.
Wikipedia defines Bocce as a precision sport belonging to the boules sport family, closely related to bowls and pétanque with a common ancestry from ancient games played in the Roman Empire. Developed into its present form in Italy (where it is called Bocce, the plural of the Italian word boccia which means "bowl"), it is played around Europe and also in overseas countries that have received Italian migrants, including Australia, North America and South America (where it is known as bochas; "bolas criollas" in Venezuela), initially amongst the migrants themselves but slowly becoming more popular with their descendants and the wider community. The game is also well-known in Serbia as bocanje (??????) and in Croatia as bocanje, bucanje, or balote, depending on the region.
This will be my last article as Junior Warden, I want to thank everyone for their support in assisting me, especially Brother Kirk Wells. He is a true Mason. Special thanks to my beautiful wife, Aleina. She is a great lady who can balance work, family, and lodge without a sweat. This year would have been tough with out her support and assistance. I also want to thank Worshipful Kendall Mills for the great leadership he demonstrated this year as Master.
I wish Brother Kirk Wells good luck next year as Junior Warden. As always, remember, in order to keep the dinner price as low as possible and avoid any more price increases, please be sure to call or email 2 to 3 days in advance to reserve a seat for dinner.
Fraternally-
