Brethren,
We are slowly but surely closing the gap on Past Master photos, both those that I don't have, and the ones that I am in the process of scanning in. I have recently added the Past Master photos from 1890 to 1900 to the ledge website.
Many thanks go out to Worshipful Marvin Horowitz and Worshipful Humberto Flores for providing their photos recently. There are only eight Past Masters from the 1980's and 1990's photos that I am still missing:
Theodore A. Bohrer
Walter Krill
James D. Marlowe
A.E. Papasomas
Bruce Weller
Ruben D. Nazareno
Aaron Taber
Manuel Mateo
I know that several of you have been active fairly recently, and I would really appreciate receiving your photos. You can email them to me at joe@jmmsoftware.com, mail them to me at 316 El Portal Way, San Jose, CA 95119, or give them to me at a lodge meeting.
I am currently working on an article about one of Friendship Lodge's early Worshipful Masters and some of the great things that he went on to do after Friendship Lodge. Look for it in next month's trestleboard.
Fraternally,
Joe Martinez

At the June 1933 stated meeting, the secretary read a letter from Grand Master Frank W. Mixter, urging masons to pay particular attention to several proposed amendments to the California State Constitution, including legalizing betting on horse races, exempting private schools from taxation, and California's ratification of the 21st amendment to the US Constitution, which would end prohibition.
