We achieve our Vision by focusing our efforts and resources on making:

 

Friendship Lodge well known and respected as the Friendliest, most welcoming, most diversified and tolerant lodge in CA

- All officers should greet all members and visitors and make them feel welcome and special at all our events and activities

 

Friendship Lodge well known and respected for its support of their widows

 - Promote our Sweetheart Luncheon, promote our handyman crew for our widows, invite our Widows to all social events, call and visit them regularly

 

Friendship Lodge well known and respected in our community for our support of public schools, our charity & community service work and for providing exceptional leaders for our community

- Increase our support for public schools, adopt Chandler Tripp as our public school to support and make a real difference. Increase our support and involvement for charity and community service events; make a real & meaningful difference in our community. Encourage and support the Child ID program

 

Friendship Lodge attract and retain the highest quality men and provides an opportunity for good men to become better in their devotion to their family, faith, country and our fraternity

- Leverage Grand Lodge Programs, “On The Level”, “Pass it On” and “The Mentoring Program” establish committees to create and support these programs. Support and attend the Constitution Observance program

 

Friendship Lodge well known and respected for its commitment to high quality ritual

- Officers come to all practices knowing their work. They know their ritual work very well for degree conferrals and deliver it dramatically and with passion, they make a great first impression on the candidate. Pledge of allegiance to our flag at every Stated Meeting. Formally present the Flag of our Country at appropriate occasions

 

Friendship Lodge well known and respected for our support of Masonic Youth Groups

- Continue to support Job’s Daughters Bethel No. 129 as our adopted youth group, continue to support and encourage our members to be adult leaders in the Masonic Youth Groups

 

Friendship Lodge well known and respected as vibrant, financially sound and has a solid membership base that will provide leadership for our lodge and our community well into the future

- Create & manage to budget. Encourage Active participation from all members and widows of our lodge, Attract & Retain good men, encourage and support all new members to advancement through all degrees, raise at least 5 Master Masons every year. Make Scholarships available in a timely and appropriate manner.

Friendship Lodge No. 210 Goals for 2008

 

 

1)     Survey Lodge members and Widows, find out what they would like to get from the lodge and masonry and what they would like to do and be involved with

2)     Create Vision Statement, Mission & Values Statement and a Strategic Plans & Goals with Officers and Lodge Members

3)     Create & Manage within Budget, (not to exceed by 5%)

4)     Increase support, activities & involvement for Widows. Call and talk to all our widows, now and through out the year

5)     Update Friendship Lodge’s data base

6)     Update Grand Lodge’s data base

7)     Provide Strong Communications through out the year – hold regular officers meetings (Monthly or at least quarterly)

8)     Utilize the phone committee for all events

9)     Create very active committees and have regular reports / updates given at our Stated Meetings

10)  Progress all EA’s & FC to MM’s – Raise at least 5 MM’s

11)  Increase our membership by 5%

12)  Receive an A report card from our Inspector on the health of our Lodge – Understand the requirements and have the lodge focused on these requirements

13)  Increase our activities, involvement and support for Charity & Community     Service Events, activities planned every month

14)  Increase the involvement of our members. Call and talk to all members, now and through out the year

15)  Increase our support for the Masonic Homes, MOS, Masonic Charities (100% participation from our Officers)

16)  Leverage Grand Lodge programs, On The Level, Pass it On & Mentoring Program. Develop a lodge Mentoring program

17)  Update our Lodge Web-site, past masters, Hiram award recipients, photos etc..

18)  Properly store, preserve and maintain Friendship Lodge’s records, archives and artifacts, clean out & organize storage room

19)  Reconcile 25 & 50 year recipients

20)  Encourage and support officers to attend and complete Grand Lodge’s “Lodge Certification Program”
